    I recently booked a holiday with Skilled Travel and left on Christmas Eve we arrived at our destination at 11pm to find we had no accomodation booked (which we had paid skilled for), we tried to contact skilled but there office was closed to the 3rd of january (the day we fly back from our holiday) and if it were an emergency to send an email to which there was an automatic response email say someone would contact me within 48hrs (at this point me and my partner are stressing on Christmas Eve/Christmas Day) I was on the phone to Australia until 2am trying to sort it out to the point were we put our own credit card as security for a room (did not sleep Well) in the morning I was in reception until lunch time to which it was still not sorted out and this put allot of stress on me and my partner next day still not sorted and finally sorted by the 28th, 4 days of our trip gone. However on the 27th my only communication I had received from skilled was an email basically saying I hope it sorted out when I arrived back in Australia we had a call from skilled saying they are now putting in emergency contact info as a result of our experience and offered us $100 voucher as compensation for the first four days of our trip being stressful as a result of there horrible customer service I find this insulting as the voucher which I would never use equates to 1.6% of the cost of the trip. I asked the person from skilled if they were in my situation would they have been happy with the $100 voucher to which they did not answer. That says it all.
